Can't Think of a Good Title...

Wow, only a week has gone by and I am posting again! My mom should be very happy!
Thought I would share some pictures with you! Emma has really grown in her imaginative play, and it is so fun to watch! This past few weeks she has just loved her baby doll. She plays with her all the time, and likes to 'powder' her, bathe her, wash her, and take her for rides in her grocery cart (she even 'disinfects' the handle with a cloth before putting her in it, just like her mommy does at the grocery store)! She is talking more and more, and saying new words every day! She was such a good girl today, she even sat thru the entire church service for the first time (no cry room for us today!)

We had a good weekend. We got our taxes done, and have a decent refund to put towards the 'minivan' fund! I have a feeling that once I have saved enough, I may not want to spend that much on a minivan! ha!

She did this herself! What a silly girl!

She has a great sense of 'style'!

I had some olives out for Shane to eat, and Emma screamed to have one, so I put some on her tray, and she quickly figured out how they fit perfectly on your fingers and that they taste pretty yummy too!

One of Emma favorite past times is playing with her mommy's minky and fabric swatches! I can't believe how much she loves sitting there and spreading them out and seeing what different colors look like together! Shane pointed out that I shouldn't be that amazed, b/c she sees me do it...and it is fun!!!

Deep in thought over which one she likes best...

Emma is definitely 'all girl'....she loves to wear her tutu (she brings it to me herself to have me tie it on her) and she is always carrying a bag or purse around! She will come to me and say bye-bye and wave, then, I will ask her if she is going shopping, and she will say yes, and off she goes!

She also loves to rock in the chair! She goes a little nuts sometimes.

I am just overwhelmed at how beautiful my daughter is and how blessed she makes me feel! I love having her in my life!!!

My first fabric shipment came! Emma was just as excited as I was! I probably won't be using all the fabric (there is 15 yards to a bolt) so will probably try selling some, so if anyone wants any...let me know! I have a few more bolts coming from this same order that are on back order that coordinate with some of the prints. This week I hope to get my order in to my distributor and my minky fabrics ordered!

Here is a picture of all the jeans I scored at a consignment shop during their 1/2 off sale in January! All of these jeans have been ripped apart, cut and sewn and ready to use for diaper bags. I do have several pockets yet to finish ripping all the thread out of though!
I'm always in need of more jeans...so I am calling all family and friends to pass their jeans along, please!!!

And last, here is a picture of my latest house projects. A friend of my had this shelf that she kindly gave to me. It was hanging in one of the bedrooms at the new house she bought. We hung it in our office, I painted it to match the walls, and put dark brown cork board on it and am using it for sewing stuff!
