Last night Shane unwrapped a Starburst candy and Emma thought the noise was the funniest thing...

Relaxing Sunday...
Here are some photos and quick update on the Struckpeople!
Emma is growing like a weed! We have added carrots, sweet peas and sweet potatoes to her list of foods that are yummy! Nursing continues to go very well, we hope to make it to a year, that way we won't ever have to use formula! Our days consist of lots of playtime on the floor, rolling over, giggling, eating, napping and lots of cuddle time with mommy! Dad gets his share of cuddling and playtime during lunches, evenings and weekends! Emma's hair is getting quite long, as you will see in the pics below! Emma now is grabbing anything in sight, which makes it interesting to drink or eat while nursing her (I think those days are now over!)
Shane had some training at work most of the week, so he only came home for lunch on Friday, so we missed him greatly during the day. On Thursday, I started a mom's Bible study. It meets every Thursday morning at 9am...we were a little rushed, but hopefully I can adjust Emma's feeding schedule a little, so we won't be. I am able to keep Emma during the Bible study. They offer childcare, but it is hard to take her there while she is still nursing and so young.
Friday evening, Emma began throwing up, so we were up late and some during the night. I slept with her in the recliner. By morning, she was running a temp of 100, and stopped throwing up. I gave her some Tylenol, and her temp went down and has been fine ever since.
We were able to watch a few movies this weekend and today we attended church and small group and Emma and I took a nice long nap in the recliner this afternoon! Well, that is about all I can think of! Enjoy the pics below!

A Cute Hat...
It has been really hard getting back into the habit of posting...so sorry to all my blog-followers!
We have been trying to stay warm...which can be hard with below zero temperatures! I won't complain though, because being a stay-at-home mom, means I don't have to go anywhere if I don't want to...and this week I definitely did not want to go anywhere! Emma and I stayed tucked inside our warm, cozy house since last Sunday til Friday evening, when we ventured out to Bible study!
Saturday, Shane was kind enough to haul us girls to the QC for a Sam's Club run, and some Chandler/O'Brien wedding errands...needed to check out a bridesmaid dress and pick up wedding flowers at Hobby Lobby and Michaels!
I am trying to get my house reorganized and figure out where I am going to set up a spot to work on flowers and sew! I have a diaper bag I really need to get started on, my new little niece will be here before I know it!
Today, we went to church and small group and got Las Lomas take-out on the way home!
Below are a few pictures...the only ones I took all week!

Finally...
I finally got to see Emma roll over today! It was this morning, I was writing 'Thank You' notes and Emma was on the floor...she worked on rolling over for about 40 minutes and finally did...and hasn't stopped since! Each time I put her down, she rolls over and then gets mad cuz she can't get back over!
Last Monday, Emma had her 4 month check-up and shots. Her current weight is 14.5 lbs and she is 23 3/4 inches long!

Emma was sleeping so peacefully, I wanted a picture of her, but the flash popping up on my camera woke her right before I took the picture...and this is the pic I got instead! Still very cute I think!
Emma's hair is getting longer...and more wild!
Another first is Emma getting cereal for the first time!I started 3 nights ago, and she really took to it! I was amazed! Only after a few bites, she figured out how to open her mouth when she saw the spoon coming!

Last of the Christmas Vacation Photos...
Here is the last of the pictures from our Christmas vacation...
Codi Chandler and Emma!Codi and I have been friends since preschool! She now lives in Wallace, NE...so we always see each other when I am back! She is getting married August 1st, so while she was over we discussed her wedding flowers, which she is giving me the honor to make for her!
Every night when my dad came home, he always grabbed Emma and walked around with her! I think he misses seeing her so much!
Izzie and EmmaVanessa and Izzie Mays (my best friend, Heather's mom and niece) came out to see us while we were home, so they could meet Emma!
Haley and EmmaTaken New Year's Eve morning at Britni's house in North Platte, while we waited to hear from Jared and Missy who were at their doctor's appointment finding out the sex of their baby!
It's a girl!
Emma, Mady and ParkerI think the expression on Emma and Parker's faces proves they are indeed related!
