2nd Bedroom Project almost complete...

Here are pics of the bedroom after I got done priming it! I have the ceiling painted and Shane put the ceiling fan back up for me. I am leaving the room 'as is' now until we do have a baby and know what color we can paint. We still have to carpet the room as well. So right now i am using it as my sewing room ( i didn't know i had so much sewing stuff, i think in our next house, i need a room for only my sewing!)

2nd Bedroom Project

Here are a few pics of the 2nd bedroom (aka future baby's room). This was after it had been mudded and sanded. I had to repeat that process 3 times!

Mom & Dad's 30th Anniversary

Here are the best pics i thought from the BBQ, at least the ones i thought mom or anyone would want a different size besides a 4X6 of. Please select the ones you want and what sizes and email me. Then i will crop and edit them (so keep in mind that our whole family picture will be cropped so its closer up, there won't be that much background in it). This is where Bella stands while I do all the work in the 2nd bedroom (see post below). She is often caught enjoying a nap too by the window!

Next Project!

Here is our next project! The 2nd bedroom (aka future baby's room). As you can see we have a lot of work to do in this room! We just removed some beautiful paneling, to discover almost a hundred year old wallpaper (our house was built in 1910) on the walls and ceiling (yes, i said ceiling, ppl really put wallpaper on the ceiling) ((can you really call it wallpaper then, shouldn't we have to dub it ceilingpaper, which just then sounds funny, but maybe if they would have thought about it that way, they would have never even put wallpaper on the ceiling))
Anyway, we thought we would have to knock out the plaster and drywall, or skimcoat with mudd over all of it! But as i was praying for wisdom, God said to get wallpaper solution to remove the wallpaper, and to my amazement, it actually is coming off! and underneath, we found plaster, that has never been painted or anything! so now we will just patch the cracks and missing plaster and sand, then paint! Still alot of work, but i really wanted it to look like all the other rooms in the house, and so i am happy!

Happy Belated Birthday Shane (May 5th) & Bella (May 6th)

Shane turned 25th this past Saturday! Happy Birthday Honey! We celebrated with a card party with some great friends! And ate a delicious cake made by Ann! thanks! Thank you to all who thought of him on his birthday!

Miss Bella Bear turned 1 year old! Here is a picture with her new ball! We didn't think she would be able to get in her mouth and carry it around (since the ball is as big as her head) but within 5 minutes she had figured out how!

To Do List: Garden...CHECK!

We finally got our garden in! It was a lot of work, since we expanded and had to dig up all that grass area! And I still think it could be bigger! I just hope we can keep all the little (and big) critters out!
