Some pics of my beautiful girls!

More pictures!!! Theses ones are from the first week in March! I have more to come, but thought I would start with these.
We had a good weekend. Friday night Shane and Emma put together Emma's new big girl bed! Emma slept in it Friday night and every night since! She really likes it! The day before (Thursday) a friend of ours, Teresa, went with me and the girls to the QC to do some shopping to pick up what I needed to set the girls room up for the both of them! It is all ready (except for some toy organization). Bree will began sleeping in the crib soon. I have pictures of the girls' room and will post those soon.
Saturday, we made a trip to Farm & Fleet and Menards, then hung out at home. Today we went to church and the grocery store and spent the rest of the day working on putting the girls' room together and just hanging out! Shane also spent part of the weekend working on a woodworking project (its a gift for someone so can't say what it is...but will post pictures of it when it is done).
That's all for now! Enjoy the pictures...

'Wait mom, I wasn't ready yet!'

'Now I am!'

Emma showing off her 'diapering' skills! They have become quite impressive!

Emma and Shane are always building something with the blocks...this was a princess castle (they build those alot).

To quote Emma, she thought it was 'pretty cool'! Notice the little people inside!

Emma and Bree in their matching shirts I made them...ahh, they are sooo gonna love me someday!

The rest are of Bree in my new fav pjs on her! She was being quite the ham! LOVE HER!

Pictures from February...

I am still attempting to update...so lets continue:

In February, we had a major snow storm...I think we had like 17 inches of snow when it was done, but since the wind blew so much we had some pretty deep snow drifts! I haven't seen a snow storm like this since I was a kid!!! It was a lot of fun!

We had a snow drift out our back door and couldn't even open the door!

We figured this would probably be the case and brought the snow shovel in the night before when it started to snow, in case we had to dig out! Luckily, our front door had hardly any snow in front of it!

A view of our neighbors house...after they snowblowed their driveway...the snow drift was over halfway up their garage door...just look at the one in front of their window!

Of course we had to go out and play in it!!! Here is Emma getting dressed to go outside!

Me and my mini-me!

We had a lot of fun playing in the snow! We made snow angels, wrote our names in the snow, slid down some snow drifts!

Bree on 2/2/11...she turned 2 months old!

The girls taking a bath! Bree loves the water, and of course, Emma loves having someone to 'play' with!

Daddy and his daughters...everyone was pretty tired!

Emma eating princess soup!

Emma with the castle she made out of blocks...inspired by the princess soup!

Emma decided to try to use the green crayon as lipstick?

Bree all bundled up to brave the 3 degree weather to go to wal-mart!

Emma after church one Sunday...looking so beautiful!

Happy V-day! Emma was excited for the day! She got candy, tattoos, Berenstain book and Just Dance for Kids for the wii. The next day she was invited to her first v-day party...she had lots of fun making crafts, decorating cookies, playing games and playing!

On 2/19/11, my mom's bible study group threw me and 2 other moms a joint baby shower...here is me and Bree before we went!

We received some very nice gifts...including this adorable diaper cake!!!

Emma with her princess puzzle she put together all by herself!

Next, she put together her mickey mouse puzzle!

Mommy and Bree

I posted my favorite picture of the girls a few weeks ago of them wearing bows/flower headband...I thought I would post some of the pictures that I took leading up to the 'perfect' one...its kinda a funny sequence:

The 'perfect' one!

Emma picked this outfit out one day!

We have been keeping pretty busy. I had the opportunity to teach at my Tuesday morning bible study at the beginning of February...I talked about financial contentment. I have also fired up the sewing machine...for it to only break down on me a week later, and this time Shane couldn't fix it because there was a broke part that needed replaced. I had to drive it down to Burlington to be fixed at the tune of $250! But I have it back now and have knocked out 3 diaper bags in the last couple of weeks...all finished just in time for the arrival of the babies that they were intended for! I still have a few more orders and then will be taking some time to sew some stuff for the girls and catch up on some projects around the house.
Emma is turning into such a big girl! She keeps us constantly entertained with song, dance and funny sayings! We bought her a toddler bed, but haven't put it together yet, but in the next couple of weeks we will be setting up her room to accommodate both of the girls.
Bree is growing and has the cutest chubby cheeks and the sweetest smile! She is quite 'talkative' and always has a smile for her momma! She is such a good baby...she is sleeping thru the night! She usually goes to bed around midnight and wakes up around 8am.
Shane is busy with work as usual, and also has a few woodworking projects on the list!
I still have some more pictures to post and will do that in the next week or so! Until then, find joy in the Lord, for today is a blessing!!!
