Just wanted to share some pictures from this past week. Things are going well around here. Shane is very busy at work, Emma is a very busy little girl playing with her toys, coloring and learning new stuff everyday, and me, I am very busy sewing away...so that sums up the Struckman household...busy!!!

A few pictures...
Just a quick post before bed! We had a good weekend here, the highlight was taking Emma to her first hockey game! She even enjoyed it and sat (and danced some) thru the whole game. And she says 'hockey' so darn cute!
The last of my supplies that I ordered finally arrived on Friday afternoon, so I finished up the 2 custom diaper bag orders that I had, and now I am moving ahead with creating some inventory for craft shows.
Well, I don't have much else to post about for now, but here are some pics!

Emma wrapping herself up in my bolt of minky fabric. Its been a challenge trying to explain to Emma that my minky fabric is not a 'b' (thats what she calls a blanket)! She cries and cries when I won't let her play with it. She just loves to hug the bolt and rub her face in it and say 'soft, soft'!She also started saying 'fabric' and 'minky' this week too...its so darn cute!

Another new fav of Emma's is coloring. Here she is Saturday morning, she colored while Shane was behind her on the computer and I was in front of her sewing.

Below are a series of pictures I took of Emma while she was imitating the silly faces her daddy was making:

Well, that's it for now!

Fun Weekend...
Just a quick post and a few pictures before bed. We really enjoyed our weekend...Shane's parents came to see us! They arrived Saturday morning and headed home this morning. Saturday we spent the day hanging out and playing with Emma, made a trip to the John Deere Pavillion, and rented the movie 'State of Play'. On Sunday, Shane, Emma and I went to church, while Shane's parents went to mass, afterwords we all went out for brunch. We all took a nap in the afternoon :) and then spent the rest of the day just hanging out, and ended the evening with another movie, 'Couples Retreat'.

Emma is 18 Months Old Today!
Yes, my baby turned 18 months old today! I am just amazed at how much she has grown and changed over the last year and a half. I feel so blessed to be Emma's mommy...she is pure joy!
So here is a run down of Emma at 18 months:
-She weighs around 23.5 lbs (according to our bathroom scale)
-She still has fairly small feet, wearing size 3 shoes, but still able to squeeze into a few of her size 2 shoes
-She loves, LOVES her baby dolls! She loves changing their diapers, wiping and powdering them, covering them with her 'b'
-She loves to dance and will dance whenever you ask her too
-She use to not have a blanket that she needed for comfort, well now its about 5+ blankets that she needs! She calls a blanket her 'b'. She doesn't have a particular favorite.
-Her eyes look to remain a beautiful shade of green!
-Her hair is now a little past her shoulders
-She knows countless body parts and will name them off and point to them
-She learns and says new words everyday
-She has a stubborn streak and likes to throw things when she doesn't get her way :)
-She loves 'milka' as she calls it
-Her favorite veggie is steamed broccoli, she likes lots of different fruits, but still refuses to eat macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and grilled cheese (strange, i know!)
-She pretty much imitates anything I do, and loves to help with laundry
-She is very much a mommy's girl and daddy's girl!
-She has a very goofy personality and loves to laugh and make you laugh!
-She loves to say 'nigh, nigh' over and over when you put her down to bed
-She is still very fond of her Bella and they play often
-She loves books!!! And we read several everyday (many I could recite in my sleep)
-She has now sat thru all of church 3 weeks in a row! Last Sunday, she was sitting quietly, drinking her juice on my lap, then bends down to grab something and burps extremely loud, everyone around us turned, looked and laughed! It was quite comical! You never would have guessed that noise came out of my sweet girl!

The other weekend we had a few inches of new snow and it was beautiful outside so we dressed Emma up and took her out for the first time...as you can tell she did not like the snow pants!

I was watching the Olympics and Emma feel asleep on me...these moments are rare now, and so treasured! I could of held her all night!
Emma trying on her new clothes after a trip to Target...what you can't see are the layers underneath...she insisted on putting everything on, she has about 5-6 different pieces of clothing on!
Emma with her new duck, it use to go 'quack, quack' until she dropped it on a cement floor. She is really into ducks right now, and says the cutest 'quack, quack, quack'!

When Shane came home from work last night, this is what he walked into...we got some free stickers in with some junk mail and Emma had a blast putting them all over me!
