More Christmas Pics...

Nana, Emma and Papa on Christmas Day
We spent most of the day at Shane's on Christmas day and the night, but I couldn't not see my mom and dad on Christmas when I was so close anyway (25 miles), so Emma and I went over to my house for a few hours. Mom and I played cards!

Emma ready for my side of family's Christmas. We celebrated it the 27th and 28th.

I came home before Shane, so his mom brought him to my house. So I thought it would be a great time to get a picture of Emma with her two grandmas!

I Missed It AGAIN!!!

Yes, thats right...I missed Emma rolling over again!
This time Emma rolled over from her back to her tummy!
I laid Emma down on her activity mat in the living room while I made supper tonight. Every few minutes I would walk into the living room to check on her, and after about 15 minutes of her laying on her mat, happy as can be, playing with her toys, I check on her and had to do a double take...she was on her tummy, looking as happy as a clam!
I was shocked and sooo proud of her!
Shane missed it too...he was in the office...he was a pretty proud daddy too!

Below are pics from spending Christmas Eve and day with Shane's side of the family.
We went to Christmas Eve service, then opened presents (Shane grew up thinking Santa comes on Christmas Eve while they are at church, while at my house Santa came during the night and we opened presents Christmas morning, but we did get to open 1 present Christmas Eve night). Its still up for debate as to what traditions we will start for our kids...we are not sure how we will approach the whole Santa thing yet, we need to pray more about it and also seek out what other Christian parents do...I would love to hear any of your ideas!

After church, we made a quick stop by my gramma Cena's house so she could see Emma all dressed up.
This is the best shot of Emma I got in her Christmas dress.

The first of many pictures to be posted...

Here is the first of the pictures I have to post, they are kinda out of order.
Shane and I left to go home to Nebraska on Saturday, Dec. 19th and drove all the way and headed back this way on Saturday, Jan 3rd, only got to Walnut, IA due to icy roads and arrived home safely on Jan. 4th.
The 2 weeks at home was spent with family and friends! We feel very blessed to have had so much time! I loved arriving at my parents' house, my mom decorated every room in the house and outside, and it felt so warm and inviting! I truly love 'going' home for Christmas!

We are at the Sandwich Shoppe for 'Tuesday Lunch'
(my mom and gramma started to eat lunch after Bible Study on Tuesdays last year, and invited my aunts, cousins and family friend, Kris, and now its something they do every Tuesday and its been over a year...they take turns on who picks where to eat each week.)
It also happened to be my mom's birthday!!!
