Fun Summer Sundays!

I took these pictures a couple of Sundays ago, on August 7th. We went to church and small group, then ate lunch out. We came home, I nursed Bree and then we got ready to go play in the river front fountain...something that we hadn't done before.

Me and my Bree-Bree!

Beautiful Emma!

1st attempt at a picture of me with my girls!

2nd attempt!

3rd attempt...at least we are all looking at the camera, with eyes open!

Emma loves her shoes cuz they remind her of mommy's! I bought those shoes for her when she was only a few months old on clearance for $3.00...I have been waiting for her to grow into them...its happened way too fast!

Picture proof that Bella does still exist! ha! Actually, her and Bree have become quite the buddies and love to play with each other!

I think I surprised Bree with the camera!

There's a smile...now she was ready!

Playing with daddy!

Swimsuit on and ready to go!

Not sure what Emma was going for here!

Fountain time!
I wasn't planning on getting completely soaked, but it just looked like too much fun!
The weather was absolutely perfect for water fun!

It was a blast! What a fun and free activity to have in our community!

God has blessed us with so many fun and enjoyable weekends together as a family this summer!

Last Sunday we attended Shane's company picnic. We have never been before and thoroughly enjoyed it. All of Weed Park was turned into fun activities for all ages. We headed over after church and ate lunch first. We enjoyed grilled sweet corn, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and more. We took in only a few of the games they had to offer, and Emma made a candy necklace and filled her own tube with pixie stick type powder and enjoyed 3 different bouncy houses. Emma even enjoyed her first pony ride!!! Her pony's name was Stormy. Part of the picnic included swimming at the aquatic center for free (its also located in Weed Park), we had a blast. Emma even went down the biggest slide with Shane. After swimming, we walked back to the food and game area and enjoy some snacks (funnel cake, popcorn & snow cones). It was such an awesome event! Other activities they had set up that we didn't partake in included: HUGE bouncy house/slides (more for bigger kids), tons of carnival type games, craft booth that include making necklaces, painting pictures and more, huge rock climbing wall, dance contest, a mechanic bull and more!

This weekends plans included a block party that a church put on downtown which included Christian bands playing with the biggest act being Cloverton (they sing 'Take Me Into the Beautiful'). It was a beautiful night to be outside and listen to some awesome worship music under the beautiful stars! We went to church today, then swimming and lunch with our small group. After lunch, Shane took Emma to urgent care while Bree and I went to walmart. Emma fell off the couch Friday night onto her left arm and the bruising and swelling keeps getting worse, she has continued to use the arm, but has complained of it some and wakes up complaining it hurts, so we thought we better make sure she didn't break it or have nursemaid's elbow. Thankfully, the doctor thought it was just bruised, but to watch it over the next couple of days.

Next weekend we head to Chicago to stay at a waterpark hotel and go to the Shedd Aquarium to celebrate Emma's 3rd birthday!!! Heather, Jon and Nolan will be joining us!

That's all for now!
