To celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, we had decided to do something as a family and take Emma to the Niabi Zoo on Saturday. It was rainy outside, but had quit by the time we got there, and it remained cloudy and cool, just perfect for a day at the zoo!

My favorite was the koi pond...the fish were insane! They loved being fed, and the ducks and swans swam up close (one bit a little girl by us, who was feeding it).

The swan in this pic just got done putting its bill inside a fishes mouth and stole the food right out of it!
And there were little turtles swimming all over too!

My beautiful butterfly!We browsed the gift shop...but didn't buy anything, figured we better take advantage of not having to buy anything while we can! It was our first time to this zoo, it was really nice...perfect size and you could get up close to so many of the animals...we will for sure be going back!
We ate lunch at a near by Happy Joe's/Rudy Tacos...it was good.
We also stopped at Target and picked up a case and screen protector for our ipod touch, then attempted to pick up the remaining flowers I needed for Codi's wedding at Hobby Lobby and stop at JoAnn's for some fabric I needed...I will be making a trip back to both of those places in the next few days b/c they were out of what I needed.
